*Note: This short gay romance contains hot gay m/m sex scenes.

Z and Jason have been partners for two years. Even though neither had dreamed they’d find a man they’d want to spend a lifetime with, it seemed fate decided to prove them wrong.

However, Z’s tours with his band are getting longer and more frequent. Jason is determined to make it work, regardless. Then he gets the opportunity he’d always dreamed of—before he’d met Z. Jason accepts and goes home to tell Z. After all, he’s always said he’ll stand by Z if his band goes national. It only stands to reason Z will stand behind him.

But Z has news of his own. And when he tells it, the two lovers will find the most difficult test the couple has ever encountered staring them in the face.

They believe their love is strong and will get them through anything.

Time and distance might tell a different story.

*Book 3 of the Performance Series. Each book is a short story and can stand alone but are best read as a series.

Review

This short story has a very sweet cover.

This is the third book in the Performance Series, two years have passed since Jason and Zeke first met in Private Performance.

Jason and Zeke aka Z are still meeting between tours, lots of hot steamy sex when they meet up again. The love they have for each other flows through the pages, though it must be hard for both of them to be apart so much. There is a lot of I Love You’s going on.

There isn’t a huge plot in these books, these short stories are just a love story between two very different guys. Very little angst which make this a very easy read. Both MC’s are chasing there own dream, my only worry is that there dreams may tear them apart. I want a HEA for Jason and Zeke. The ending of this had me in tears. I really didn’t want to see the To Be Continued… I want a little more.

Overall a sweet love story with the promise of more. I can’t wait to read the next short story.

AuthorBio

Sibley Jackson is the pen name that author Caddy Rowland uses when writing gay m/m romance. After three years of writing drama, psychological thriller, historical fiction, and family saga Caddy wanted to expand into romance, but preferred writing gay m/m. Since her books have always been GLBT inclusive, some with gay main characters, it was a natural progression.

Although she was familiar with writing gay fiction, writing m/m romance—which is primarily read by females—offered new challenges. Sibley strives to make the characters read like real men, yet she makes sure the romantic thoughts and feelings women love to read about are also there. Additionally, the sex scenes are hot and explicit, tending more toward how two men communicate when having sex, instead of a man with a woman.

Sibley plans on writing at least four books in her first series (The Performance Series). She will then write other gay m/m romance series, hoping to give readers of that genre an exciting and rewarding storyline with male characters who are men, instead of one being simply “a chick with a dick”.
