Tracy reviews Against the Wall (Firsts and Forever #7) by Alexa Land. Published January 12th 2015 by the Author, … 320 pages

This book was provided free of charge for an honest review by the author. 😉

Why I read this book: I chose to read this book as I have read the whole series to date and really enjoyed each book. I wanted to read the next book in the series.

Don’t start something you can’t finish.

It’s a cliché, but 22-year-old graffiti artist Christian lives by those words. He’s going away when he graduates from art school in just six short months. With so little time left, getting involved with gorgeous Shea Nolan has to be a mistake. If only he could make himself stay away from the sweet, sexy police officer.

Christian has a decision to make. Are a few months of happiness worth the inevitable heartbreak when it’s time to walk away?

Against the Wall is the seventh book in Alexa Land’s best-selling Firsts and Forever series, but each book can stand alone, so jump in anywhere. PLEASE NOTE: This male/male romance is for ADULT READERS ONLY. It includes explicit language and graphic sex.

 10/10 Pots of Gold

The cover of this book is perfect in every way, I love the graffiti in the background.

This author is becoming a fast favourite of mine, her books are full of everything.
Against the wall is Christian and Shea’s book. We have met Christian in a previous book, I was interested in read why he was being a jerk, don’t get me wrong I liked his character but there was just something I couldn’t put my finger on. We find he has a lot of problems, past and present, with a lot to hide. He really is a good guy.
Shea is a sweet and loveable cop. His parents are homophobic, he is very shy, accident prone and a virgin. He sees Christian and falls very fast but things are not as simple as they seem.
We also meet a new sub-character Chance, he is a rent boy and photographer. He becomes fast friends with Christian. I think it will be interesting to see what comes next with him.
Must not forget Nana and her huge group of boys… LOL We all need a Nana like this one.
I had so many different emotions when reading this book. I laughed, I got annoyed and I cried… boy did I cry. I was a bubbling mess while really enjoying reading this book. The is a very in-depth storyline that keeps you from putting the book down. There is a lot going on in the background that makes very interesting reading, some parts are fun yet other parts will break your heart into many pieces.
The author did a really fantastic job with a really difficult subject. The writing style is good, it makes reading very easy.
I would highly recommend this series.
