Blurb:
Imposing, temperamental Noah Forman wakes up in a hospital and can’t remember how he got there. He holds it together, taking comfort in the fact that the man he has loved since childhood is on the way. But when his one and only finally arrives, Noah is horrified to discover that he doesn’t remember anything from the past three years.
Loyal, serious Clark Lehman built a life around the person who insisted from their first meeting that they were meant to be together. Now, years later, two men whose love has never faltered must relive their most treasured and most painful moments in order to recover lost memories and secure their future.

My review: The Home series was my first taste of Cardeno C’s writing and I’ve been a fan ever since. I listened to the books previously but with the re-release with new covers and bonus scene I read them once again. It only reinforced my love for the series.
Each book can definitely be read separately, because they all feature a different couple and don’t follow a specific timeline. Because most of the books take place in the same city, couples from one book often show up in another and it’s fun to see them from other perspectives. The narration changes from book to book as well which makes each book a unique experience not to be missed.
Home Again is one of my favorite books in the series, featuring two of my favorite things, friends to lovers and second chance romance. Noah tells the story in the present from the moment he wakes up in a hospital missing a few years from his memory, and Clark tells the story in the past of how they met and how they got to the place they were when Noah had his accident. Their love story stretches over a decade and though they are not together at the time of the accident the two realize they have never stopped loving each other and they can move past their past mistakes. It’s a sweet and romantic read.
The feisty Noah and calm, protective Clark are a perfect pairing of opposites. The bonus scene takes place at the time of the Supreme Court’s decision to recognize same-sex marriage. Noah and Clark’s reaction to the news and what they want is on par with how they have always been with each other. It was good to see them be true to their characters, it’s obvious that their love will remain strong regardless of anything the law approves or doesn’t approve.
The red hair on the model for Clark really comes through on the new cover and his protective stance.
