Synopsis:

One night. One wish…..darkness disappears. If you could have one wish, what would it be? Christian thinks he has it all. Billy knows what he is missing. And Zander only wants one thing. Will their dreams come true? New Year’s is a time for reflection, change, and resolution….that is, if you’re human. In a vampire’s world, New Year’s is a time of birth. Once a year, vampires celebrate their existence, and it’s going to be one hell of a party. With Christmas over, Christian prepares to celebrate with Zander for their first New Year together. Little does he know that Zander, with Billy’s help, has other plans. The countdown has begun. New Year’s dream is the second installment (novella) of Angel of Darkness. 18+ for language and sexual content. New Year’s Dream is the continuation of Christian and Zander’s story. It works better to have read Angel of Darkness first..

Review

This is the second book in the Angel of Darkness series.  I recommend beginning with book 1 so you can get the full understanding of the characters and the storyline.

Christian and Zander are living happily together. They have recently celebrated Christmas and New Years is just around the corner. New Years is a big celebration in the vampire world. It’s a day of rebirth and celebration of their existence.

Not only is New Years a celebration for all vampires, it is also a magical night where there is a high possibility that wishes can come true.  Christian and Zander’s life is just about perfect but there is one thing Zander is yearning to have and until now he has only been able to dream about it. Unfortunately this wish is complicated and  there are significant risks involved for it to happen.  Zander now has to decide if the risks are worth the opportunity to live out his dream for 1 day.

New Year’s Dream is another amazing book in the Angel of Darkness series. I loved how the author brought the characters together in a totally different way. I really enjoyed reading the POV’s of all 3 of the characters. The trust, sacrifice and love the characters had for one another was spectacular. The emotion that was created in the writing had me in tears more than once. Like the first book, the sex scenes were off the chart. I can’t wait to read what happens in the next book, Dark Regret.

The only negative thing about New Year’s Dream is that It does need more editing. I was still able to flow right through the story without any problem nor did it effect the authors caliber of writing.

If you have read Angel of Darkness book 1 then New Year’s Dream is a book you don’t want to miss out on.
