Over a year ago I decided to revert my rights to some of my stories, due to business/financial decisions.
I decided some of my work was priced too high for the current market, but my publishers wouldn’t lower prices.
My back list crawled to a slow, painful stop.
So I went over my numbers and picked some of the books I wanted to reduce the price on, and the first one was
my very first m/m series, In The Company of Men. These are gay medieval romances, swashbucklers of a sort, men with
swords, who fight for their lovers and endure so much to earn their happily ever after.
The first book, my first m/m book, is The Mercenary’s Tale. Drake is a mercenary who has become a loner. He’s seen too many
of the young men he’s train killed in battle and he’s weary of it. Until Ansel enters the tavern Drake is sitting at and asks to be
trained. It’s the last thing Drake wants to do, but he’s damned if he can resist the young man.
He knows their lives are forfeit on the battlefield, it’s how a mercenary lives. And dies.
On August 6th, Hartwood Publishing is releasing my book, with a new cover and some edits, at a new lower price. I hope those of
you who haven’t read it will snatch it up and those who have read it will at least read it again. Because shortly the rest of them, His Duke’s Gift, Jackson’s Pride, Baymore’s Heir and Silent Lodge will be re-released, all with sexy new covers.
I love the cover for The Mercenary’s Tale. Drake is sexy and dangerous, just like he is in the book. I can’t wait to see what the other covers will
look like. I’m so happy and thrilled that Hartwood took on my series!!
You can purchase the book for $3.99 at all the usual places – on August 6th – Kindle, Nook, Ibooks, ARe… and you can pre-order them on Amazon now – Amazon
