What’s been your favorite movie of all time?
Tanner groans. Here we go again…
Finley glares at him. What?
Tanner shakes his head. I know what you’re going to say.
Duh? Finley blinks. You’re my mate. I’d hope you know that about me.
There are just… other movies out there.
But she asked for my favorite.
Tanner waves a hand, fighting a grin. Yeah, yeah…
Finley shakes his head. An American Werewolf in London. It’s so cheesy, it’s good. And, like, okay, there were only practical effects in the ’80s, right? And they kicked so much ass over that one.
Tanner’s grin breaks through and he kisses Finley. I love you. For me… gods, I don’t know. I don’t really know if I have one. Maybe Aliens? I love sci-fi and horror and that gets pretty damned close to the best of both worlds.
It does. Finley nods.
Hmm. How about favorite food?
Finley grins. In which form?
Tanner laughs and looks at Finley. I’m thinking… elk.
Oh, yeah. Elk is good. Hare’s good for a snack, but elk…
Tanner and Finley both grin, but Finley holds a hand up. In human form… probably steak. As rare as it gets. Our taste buds are a bit different in wolf form versus human but I still like it pretty much mooing.
Run it through a warm room.
Finley laughs. Yeah, something like that.
Okay, let’s get sappy. What’s the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen?
Tanner’s gaze turns soft and he looks at Finley. Finley, after we’ve made love. The look on his face is just beautiful.
Finley blushes. Yeah, I can go with that…err, the other way around, I mean. Or… first think in the morning. He still looks really young and all the stuff he worries about during the day is gone.

Finley Cooper is tired of waiting. He’s spent the last two years, waiting for his destined mate to be ready to claim him. In deference to human laws, he’s agreed to put it off until he was eighteen. But now he is and his mate has a new set of excuses. Finley doesn’t understand it any more than his wolf does. And Finley’s beginning to wonder if Tanner really wants him or if fate made a mistake.
Tanner Pearce wants nothing more than to claim his mate. But Finley’s age worries him. He’ll never forget what happened when his best friend mated at Finley’s age, only to have that mate end up feeling trapped and breaking their bond. While rare, it can happen, and the fallout Tanner witnessed as his best friend tried to deal with the break would haunt him for years.
If that isn’t bad, when the future alpha of the Forbes pack claims his mate, it’s traditionally a public event. Neither Tanner’s nor Finley’s parents understand Tanner’s reticence over either issue, but Tanner is sure claiming Finley this soon is a recipe for disaster. However, Finley has had enough and when Finley threatens to find someone who will claim him if Tanner doesn’t, Tanner realizes he’s going to have to come to terms with his fears or risk losing his mate forever.

Ok, this interview was adorable. My favorite movie is While You Were Sleeping. No great production values or deep insightful story. Just adorable and fluffy, with a HFN.

My favorite movie? It’s a tie between BEEFCAKE (sexy, funny, educational tale of Bob Mizer’s Athletic Model Guild–perfect for m/m fans!), MIRACLE (cute hockey boys!), and THE GIRL ON THE BRIDGE (warped yet sweet French movie about a suicidal girl and the knife-thrower who rescues her).

Like the boys, my favorite food is steak, preferably a rib eye but cooked to a medium rare or rare plus since most restaurant steaks are over cooked.
