Recently returned to the UK after living in the States since he was eleven, Andrew Barrett is determined to keep busy and make a new life for himself. He works full time as a copywriter and strips at a club on Canal Street on weekends. But it still leaves him too much time to think. Then he finds the BDSM club, Collars & Cuffs, where at twenty-nine, he is their youngest Dom. Young doesn’t mean inexperienced, however. All this activity keeps him focused with no time to dwell on the past. But the past has a way of intruding on the present.
It’s been four long years since Gareth Michaels last set foot inside Collars & Cuffs. But when he finally summons his courage and steps back into his former world, he finds the man who drove him away is still a member, and what’s more, he wants Gareth back. Two men in pain need the freedom they find in each other, but it takes another man’s horrific plans to make them see it.
Andrew has recently moved back to Manchester after living many years in the United States. He has a great job but needs more. He loves to dance and he is great at it. When he walks into Blaze, the all male strip club, he likes what he sees. He ends up interviewing on site and landing a job that starts immediately. It feels like everything is falling into place. Therefore, he sets out for the next item on the to do list, Collars and Cuffs. Andrew has heard nothing but great things about the club. When he arrives, he likes what he observes around the club and what the club’s co-owner Leo has to say. Andrew maybe young, but he is an extremely experienced Dom. Once Leo becomes aware of the other clubs Andrew has been a member of, there is not doubt in Leo’s mind that he is a good fit for Collars and Cuffs. Leo gets the paperwork started right away.
Andrew enjoys working at Blaze and has become friends with a few of the other strippers. But it is the shy fidgety man, that holds his attention.
Gareth has worked as a stripper for a few years and he enjoys what he does. It keeps his mind focused. After being hurt 4 years ago, Gareth hasn’t had any desire to be intimate and he has forgone the need he has to submit. That is until he meets Andrew. He likes Andrew as a person and they have became good friends, but it is something more that keeps pulling Gareth towards him. Gareth feels grounded and focused when Andrew is around. When he notices Andrew walk into Collars and Cuffs, he then realizes why the pull is so strong. Andrew is a Dom. But does Gareth have enough strength to go back into the lifestyle that hurt him so many years ago?
When Andrew sees Gareth in his club, he is taken off guard but very intrigued. That is until he sees the nervousness in Gareth’s eyes when another Dom approaches him. Andrew is determined to find out what has Gareth so off kilter. This is where Andrew learns about Gareth’s past and the hurt he endured. After some discussion and some hot sex they decide to see where the attraction leads.
Both of these men have intense pain that they have yet to overcome. This pain lessens when their around each other. Unfortunately, it isn’t until a horrific event happens that Andrew and Gareth realize how deep their feelings are for each other. Only now will it be too late to let the other know?
Dance With Domination is another amazing book in the Collars and cuff series. Just like the previous books the author is able to grab your attention and keep you fully engrossed till the end. I love how both men started out as friends before they became lovers. Then eventually moving on to a D/s relationship. My emotions were high when I read this. There was many times I was in tears as I read what these men went through before they found each other. Once they came finally came together the scenes are scorching. I love seeing all the characters from previous books return. KC Wells has once again written a spectacular book. I can’t wait to see where she takes us on the next one.
Dance with Domination is book 4 in the Collars and Cuffs series. It can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend reading the entire series in order to forgo spoilers in the other books.
10/10 pots of gold
Born and raised in the north-west of England, K.C. WELLS always loved writing. Words were important. Full stop. However, when childhood gave way to adulthood, the writing ceased, as life got in the way. K.C. discovered erotic fiction in 2009, when the purchase of a ménage storyline led to the startling discovery that reading about men in love was damn hot. In 2012, arriving at a really low point in life led to the desperate need to do something creative.
An even bigger discovery waited in the wings—writing about men in love was even hotter….
K.C. now writes full-time and is loving every minute of her new career. The laptop still has no idea of what hit it… it only knows that it wants a rest, please. And it now has to get used to the idea that where K.C goes, it goes.
And as for those men in love that she writes about? The list of stories just waiting to be written is getting longer… and longer….
K.C. loves to hear from readers.
