Thank you for stoping by at RGR, Joseph Lance Tonlet & Louis Stevens. It is wonderful to host you and your book ‘Quillon’s Covert’. While Amazon decides more and more to act like a big brother and tell us what we SHOULD read, we do enjoy the occational taboo read, even if it has been banned by Amazon. Banning books has never been something positive and I think our readers can decide for themselves if a romance between a father and his adult son is something they might enjoy.
The authors brought a wonderful trailer for you and the chance to win a print copy of the book [US] or an eBook copy [Outside US] by leaving a comment until May 1st. More giveaway details below 🙂

Martin is a guy’s guy, one who enjoys the simple things in life: baseball games with his son, family days, barbecues, and date nights with his lovely wife.
Once a year for two weeks, Martin takes his son, Marty, to Quillon’s Covert, a rustic family cabin secluded in the beautiful California mountains. Since before those long days of learning to play ball, Marty has loved his dad, but as Marty matures, Martin starts to see something else settle in his son’s uncertain gaze. What’s there lingers a little more than it should, and it seems far more appraising than it once was.
As Marty shows every sign of taking the lead, Martin is faced with the tough choices most parents never see: lose his son by being a father, or try to balance what’s best for their relationship by being something… more.
But with another trip to Quillon’s Covert on the horizon, has the point of no return already begun?
Quillon’s Covert was written by Joseph Lance Tonlet & Louis Stevens. The book was published on December 18th, 2015 by JLT Publishing and was edited by Jack L. Pyke, Men In Ink Edits. The cover was designed by Preston Hultz. The book is an erotic M/M Taboo Romance and is about 186 pages long.

LOUIS is a gay romance author born and raised in South Africa. He was a shy outcast who had few friends in school; generally feeling excluded and on the fringe of society. However, when he discovered gay romance and erotica in 2007, at the age of seventeen, his mind and world opened up.
He wrote his first story, A Better Life, longhand in a 197 page spiral notebook, on his bed every night with a pillow curled under his chin. Although the book wouldn’t be published until 2011, with the now defunct Silver Publishing, he found the experience entirely liberating. He’s considered himself a writer ever since.
This one sounds a bit different. I am very curious.

Thanks, H.B. I think the cover turned out lovely too. Preston Hultz has worked on all my book covers (in some way) and this was his creation. If anyone is ever in need of one, he can be found at http://www.prestonhultz.com

I really like the cover! And blurb sounds interesting though I don’t believe I have ever read a taboo father-son relationship before. Thank you for the chance at the giveaway!

Unfortunately, there aren’t many of these stories out there, Alaina. And, the ones that do manage to be written are banned pretty quickly from major marketplaces. (Which is probably why authors don’t spend the time writing them (if they’re not able to get their work into the hands of readers then there’s very little point, you know?)) Louis and I understood the challenges we’d face with Quillon’s Covert, but we couldn’t not tell this story. I know I speak for both of us when I say, I’m glad we did. Quillon’s Covert will be forever dear to both of us.

I loved it. My first real taboo story. It is well written and a very emotional read without a pointing finger. It would look so good on my book shelf right next to Grif’s Toy, which I am reading right now. 😉

I love the trailer too. It really sets the scene.
I’m ashamed to say I still haven’t read this yet as I’ve been caught up in a house move for the first part of the year. If I win a copy it will go straight to the top of my list tho. xx
