Wendy reviews College Climax: Confidential Edition by T.C. Orton self published November 27th, 2016, 82 pages.
College Climax: Confidential Edition follows motel-dwelling Luke and British transfer student, Billy, on their collision course into each other’s lives. One exploits the closeted sons of right-wing politicians, whilst the other struggles to root himself in American society and yearns for his by-the-book boundaries to be pushed.
Join them on in their fast-paced, whirlwind romance.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Why I read this book:
This is a newly revised edition of the book, it was the first book T.C. had written and the first book that I read of his. As he’s developed as a writer, he knew he could do better for his characters and this is the result.
Luke is a breath of fresh air as a character for me. I love the way he embraces the life that he chooses. He doesn’t give one single fuck about whether anyone would care about his lifestyle as a rent boy. He doesn’t try to hide what he is or what he does and I appreciate how unique that is in today’s world where everyone seems to be trying to conform to a certain “type” of character.
Billy is just so sweet and I love him to pieces. Where Luke is outgoing and boisterous, Billy is timid and geeky. He has a plan to change all that once he meets Luke though. I loved his honest and open heart and how brave he is as he is determined to finally do what he wants and capture Luke’s attention.
Both of these characters are new in name at least from the original book, but follow the same plot line as Lucas and Sebastian (who were in the first book). They are a smoother better written version of the originals with a bit more depth and I felt like the story had a nicer flow.
This is a short story, but if you like a lot of sex with your story with a bit more sex thrown on top like a cherry, this is the perfect book for you. T.C. can really write a hot scene and he doesn’t shy away in this book at all… did it just get warm in here?
I hope to see a lot more of Billy and Luke in the future.

Where to add:
T. C. has had a passion for supernatural stories from a young age, often scribbling down his latest ideas instead of focusing on whatever task was at hand during the long school days. At the age of twelve, he penned his first romance story featuring himself and the boy he had feelings for set in a fantastical land full of werewolves and wizards. Ever since that day, T. C. has made it his mission to entwine his leading gay protagonists with epic paranormal adventures.
