Why Bethany read: I loved reading the ebook and couldn’t wait till I could listen.
Dallas Muller has everything he never expected he’d have. He owns a successful motorbike mechanic shop in Newcastle, and he’s madly in love with his boyfriend of four years, Justin Keith.
Justin has always struggled to find where he fit in, never realising his true worth or what it means to be loved–until he met Dallas. Living and working together might be too much for some, but Dallas and Justin wouldn’t have it any other way.
When a terrible accident tears their world apart, Justin’s left with no memory of Dallas or their relationship. Trying to put the pieces back together is almost impossible when some pieces are blank and some are missing altogether. Dallas has to let Justin find his own way back to him and just hope that their love will light the way.
I read this book when it came out and LOVED it. So I was super excited that it was coming to audio. If I love a book when I read it, I will 100% get the audio as well.
This story broke me when I read it and I was a tad scared that listening to it would leave me in tears. And it did, reliving the anguish that this couple had to go through made my heart break all over again. Justin starts the story with his POV, and then it is Dallas’ POV till the final chapter when Justin takes over again. I loved this. Why? Because experiencing their relationship through Dallas’ eyes shows you exactly how perfect they are for one another. Even if Justin doesn’t remember him.
Dallas is so patient with Justin and never pushes him to try to remember their life together. Justin doesn’t remember Dallas, but knows that he is safe with Dallas. Oh man my heart continued to break. But just like every story Ms. Walker gives up she did make it better.
Just like with the ebook, I highly recommend the audio. Glen Lloyd is a new to me narrator but he was absolutely perfect for Dallas and Justin. He really brought them to life for me. I am eagerly awaiting the next two.

She is many things; a mother, a wife, a sister, a writer. She has pretty, pretty boys who she gives them life with words.
She likes it when they do dirty, dirty things…but likes it even more when they fall in love. She used to think having people in her head talking to her was weird, until one day she happened across other writers who told her it was normal.
She’s been writing ever since…
