“You settled that perfectly.” His voice was like a purr, and suddenly, I realized I was going to be very late for my meeting. “It’s like you’re some boss or something, making the hard calls.” He said the word hard with a moan and I knew if I turned around, he’d be stripping off his clothes.
“Snow…” I tried for a warning tone, but it was Snow. He couldn’t be deterred.
“You’re already going to be late.” His hands pressed against my back. “And you’re already going to be naked in a second.” He reached around my waist and began pulling my belt buckle.
“What’s a little more lateness, hmm?”
Resistance was futile, so I turned in his arms and smiled at the cheeky, adorable man I loved more than the air I breathed.
“You argue a good case, Mr. Manos, so make me later.”
He chuckled as he pushed me onto the bed, straddling me in all his flour and sugar-covered glory.
I relished in the feel of his mouth over my heated skin, his tongue gliding along my flesh like a paint brush. With my shirt open and my cock freed from the confines of my pants, I moaned as he made me later.

I’ve read all of the Haven Hart Universe books. Read my previous reviews here: Book 1 Book 2 Book 3 Book 4 The saga continues and I will read this series as long as Davidson King writes it!
If you haven’t yet started this series (why haven’t you started this series?) then you’re missing out on so much.
I could go on and on about the MC’s and how much I love them. Snow and Christopher are an epic love story. These guys have a love that is rare and all consuming even in fairy tales. We all want to have someone love us completely and utterly the way that Christopher and Snow love each other. Who wouldn’t want to be their special someones entire universe? The love all but leaps off the pages.
Snow has grown into himself in this book. Not to say that he hadn’t before, but now he’s more comfortable with his role in the Manos family. He isn’t afraid to remind people of that either even if he knows how to play it otherwise. Most people would say that Christopher was the head of the family but I secretly think that Snow is the Head Mother****** in Charge.
Christopher is still the man that will do whatever it takes to keep his family safe and his businesses running smoothly. While he seems a bit softer around the edges, don’t mistake this character’s appearance for weakness because it isn’t and I think that it makes him an even more powerful force to be reckoned with.
A few years have passed in this universe and people have grown up so look for some more surprises as well as cameos from characters in past books. This underworld of Haven Harts seems to thrive on team work even if it’s sometimes reluctantly given.
And then there’s the fun part. Tons of action and suspense, ferocious mobsters fighting hard and dirty and a perfectly sculpted plot that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
